2526 o/      1883 2¢ Red Brown Issue Collection. Covers and used stamps both, specialized collection/accumulation on stockpages in a total of 3 binder volumes; One small binder holds off-cover issues with emphasis on fancy cancels with stars, Maltese crosses, crossroads, leafs, letters and numerals and negatives thereof, with several here and there that could benefit from identification, two binders hold the collection's primary value #210 on cover, heavy in better advertising, such as railroads, carriages, seeds, publishing, trunks (but no elephants), many hotels and horses, several expresses, cameos, land sales, books/printing/newspapers, better registered, foreign destinations, three-color frankings, auxiliary markings, interesting small towns such as Wyalusing, Delaware Water Gap, Garneville, Milliken's Bend, Perkinsville, Virginville, some items with contents, spot-checking reveals quite a few discontinued post offices, well over 300 covers and a few cards, most fine to very fine, with condition issues generally limited to lesser items.
