A VERY RARE USAGE OF THE SAME CANCEL APPLIED IN DIFFERENT COLORS TO PREVENT FRAUDULENT REUSE OF STAMPS.

Due to primary red Quito cancelling ink and the 4r stamp being in the same color, effort was made here on the part of the postmaster to used a contrasting blue ink on the 4r issue in order to properly deface the issue.
