2906 /o      British Commonwealth, Stationery Group, 1890-1957. A very interesting mix with items from Barbados, Bermuda, Gibralter, Gold Coast, Great Britain, Malta, New Zealand and St Christopher, included are Barbados QV 1d entire with ½d overprint doubled, Gold Coast 1½d postal card uprated with ½ and mailed from the Congo, QEII 6d air letter sheet cut outs (3) on cover to London, three Great Britain postal money orders, a good group of New Zealand wrappers and more, many unusual items.

2907 /o/      British Commonwealth, KEVIII Exhibit Collection, 1894-1972. Many items beautifully written up on 130 pages charting the life of Edward and his family thru philately, many better item are throughout with interesting anecdotes and stories pertaining to Edward and the British Royal family as well as many of the other related European Royal families, the collection begin with a Die proof of the portrait by artist Bohumil Heinz from the De La Rue archives, his first appearance on a ½p stamp from Newfoundland issued in 1898 with additional Die proof, Specimen and covers, a very expansive showing of material pertaining to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as well as composite South African essays of King George V his father, Edwards visit to Asia as Prince of Wales with Official presentation folder from his visit to India in 1922, covers from his tour to Bechuanaland and Southern Rhodesia in 1925, die proof of the head used on the Canada 5¢ Jubilee of 1935, Canada large Die essay in green from 1936, one of only three known and pictured in Robson Lowe's encyclopedia, a very valuable 1936, India essay of the head for the coronation as well as two Ceylon photo essay, Falkland Islands Composite artist essay for the £1 with artist G. Roberts signature on back, several Harrison & sons essays as well as an artist drawing for a New Zealand ½d, many interesting varieties and usage of the issued British stamps with booklets, covers and varieties, a fabulous holding, please inspect.

2922 S      British Commonwealth, De La Rue Postal Stationery Sample Book, 1936-1940. thirty plus postal stationery item from the KGVI period housed in a textured leather bound album measuring 11 X 6 inches, Thomas De La Rue & Company Limited, London printed in gold on front cover, included are postal cards, envelopes, registered envelopes and money order, all overprinted "Specimen", countries represented are Aden, Barbados, British Guiana, Ceylon, Falkland Island, K.U.T., Malaya, Mauritius, Nyasaland Protectorate, Sierra Leone, South Africa and Trinidad & Tobago, there is some edge ware on the cover, several of the pages have been removed, other pages with the items removed, there is serious toning on some of the items and signs of foxing on others, despite the faults, a remarkable item, very few are known to exist.
