Starts with a VF 4-margin Sc 1847 (#1) on a pretty cover, tied by a neat NYC red grid cancel, then, scattered around on the first 4 pages are used #1 and 2 (both space fillers),7, 15, 17, 29, 32 pair, 37, 38, 71, 72, 112-122, many Bank Notes to 90c, 218, 219-229, and 278 plus more). Columbians complete to $2 (230-242), mixed used and unused, 242 unused and regummed with cert, Trans-Miss complete unused (285-93), 293 regummed with cert. Also unused are 294-99, 328-30, 368, 371, and 373 pairs, 614-621, many Washington-Franklins and later. Both Kans. And Nebr. Overprints complete used. Airmail section also strong, with complete unused sets of C1-C6, the C13-15 Zeppelins, C18, used E1-3, and more. Mixed condition, most stamps with F-VF appearance, faults can be expected, especially on earlies.
