Also, at the very end of Volume 3, all of the remaining "empty" holes are filled with "extra" half-pennies: 16 various as follows: 1893, 1911, 1915, 1917, 1921 (2), 1923 (2), 1926, 1928, 1931, 1936, 1937, 1938, 1939, and 1940.

Three Whitman standard albums of British Pennies: two Whitman standard albums of British Large Pennies 1902-1929, these are complete sets of all coins in average condition; plus one Whitman standard album of British Large Pennies 1930-1966: this is a complete set of all of the coins in better than average condition including the most valuable coins (1950: 240,000 minted; and 1951: 120,000 minted in nearly BU condition).

2946   Great Britain, Pennies, 1902-1967. Two "Special" Condition Whitman Albums for Large British Pennies: these albums are extraordinarily scarce these days; they have special "plastic" protection covers that slid over the coins on both the obverse and reverse of each coin, throughout both albums. both sets are complete; including the "rare" pair of the 1902 "high" horizon (in BU condition) and the 1902 "low" horizon Large pennies, for which this particular album was produced to accommodate, most of the coins are in BU condition; with many in (probable) BU-63 to BU-66 condition if professionally graded, please inspect.

Housed in 10 albums; starting with used early issues including 1840 issues complete, 1847-54 embossed issues, many of the QV high values present including 1867-78 5sh, 10sh & £1, 1882 10sh, 1884-91 high values including £1 issues, also the £1 Telegraph present, complete KEVII definitives to the £1, KGV issues including some Seahorses */o, PUC £1 mint and strong mint later including an array of Exposition labels & ephemera, back-of-the-book with some Officials worth checking, modern with booklet items, etc., other sections include Ireland missing mainly most of the key Seahorse issues, Isle of Man, Regonials including Guernsey and Jersey, etc.; condition varies, worth proper evaluation.

Hundreds of mint and used issues neatly arranged and identified in stockbook, arranged by denomination and identified by both Scott & Billig #'s with shades and other printing varieties noted; 1861-75 section starting with 1l with most issues and major shades represented, many in modest duplication including a few pairs, similar higher denominations with better issues both mint and used throughout, other varieties including figures on reverse varieties noted with better inverted numerals, nice section of 1876-82 issues, with a good showing of mint with a mix of gum/no gum and used with a vast array of cancellations including town, dotted lozenge, straight line steamship, 1882, 20l (Scott 56) with scarce Egyptian RETTA steamship cancel, etc.; condition varies with many nice items throughout, owner's cat value $50,429, a nice study of these early Greece issues, inspection recommended.
