ONE OF THE FINEST EXAMPLES OF THIS RARE PAPER VARIETY WHICH IS FAR SCARCER THAN THE CATALOG VALUE WOULD INDICATE.

Approximately 18 examples of this variety have been certified by the Philatelic Foundation with only a couple others are found in similar quality to the stamp offered here. It appears that this stamp's 1¢ counterpart (Scott 63c) is slightly more common yet catalogs substantially more at $4,500 for used.
