Registered entire to Portland, Org. uprated with 1893, 1¢ green + 10¢ black + 12 black + 25¢ dark violet, red overprints (55+61+62+64) all tied by target handstamp, red "Honolulu, Hawaii, Oct 10, 1893" cds with matching "R" registry and "A.R." handstamps, reverse with S.F. transit, receiving postmarks and initials P.M.G. on flap; entire with vertical file folds and some light toning around stamps, F.-V.F., this being The Earliest Usage of the 1893 10¢ Legal Size Entire.

On F. Gregory's "Post Office in Paradise" website, the earliest documented use of the 10¢ entire size 23 (U13) is October 11, 1893. This usage predates the recorded example by one day.
