Franked with 1893-1901 1a dark blue with blurred impression, imperforate, thick native paper, clear strike of Kalaiya mute killer cancels stamp, five strikes of Kalaiya manuscript datestamp record the five day delay of this cover in Kalaiya before it was sent on to Kathmandu, very minor worm damage, Probably the nicest example of this kind of usage.

Franked with 1893-1901 1a dull blue, tête-bêche pair, blurred impression, pin-perforated (stamps cut from sheet with some perfs still showing), thin native paper, minor damage to one margin which does not affect design, Pyuthan cds records the date of posting as November 5, 1898, normal wear and insignificant insect damage, Very Fine appearance and very scarce franking, Tête-bêche pairs are scarce on cover, especially the pin-perfs.

4220       imageNepal, 1900 Triple-letter rate cover from Timure (on the Tibet side of the Tibet-Nepal border) to Kathmandu. Franked with three singles of the 1893-1901 1a dark grayish green, imperforate, blurred impression, stamps canceled with "Rasuwa Hulak" (Rasuwa Post Office) seal cancellations where this letter entered the Nepalese postal system, posting in Rasuwa on April 30, 1900 as indicated by Rasuwa manuscript cds, Trisuli transit and Kathmandu arrival with appropriate backstamps, Very Fine, A very scarce and unusual route.
