Folded cover franked with 1d red + 2d blue + 3d rose tied by London duplex cancels with bold red oval "PD" handstamp & "2 ½d" credit to Denmark adjacent, Very Fine and choice, a very attractive 3 color franking paying an unusual rate.
Scott Nos. 30+33+49; Estimate $200 - 300.

This franking paid the correct 5 pence per half ounce letter rate from 1-Oct-1871 through 30-Jun-1875, plus 1 pence late fee for mail at the Chief District and Branch Offices between 6.00 and 7.15pm.
