1853/1866, MARIA/PEDRO/LUIS imperforate issues, used collection of 78 stamps of all denominations, slight imperfections to fine, neatly arranged on album pages, incl. two copies each 1853 5r. brown, 50r. green and 100r. lilac, two copies 1855 5r. brown and following issues, good range of shades and postmarks, some units (two strips of four) etc.
1853/1990 (ca.), mint never hinged and predominantly unused and used collection, including Postage Dues and Parcel stamps, showing a substantial degree of duplication together with some multiples; the collection opens with an attractive selection of the early issues commencing with Queen Maria II 1853 5 r. reddish-brown (Mi.-Nr. 1) used, 25 r. blue (Mi.-Nr. 2) used (x6), together with some reprints, pre-UPU issues include many better values up to the 300 reis, later a range of better sets throughout with 1894 Prince Heinrich (Mi.-Nr. 96-108) cpl. unused (some value with partial or no gum), etc., noted a small group of early numeral cancellations and a few covers. An attractive assembly, except for the occasional fault overall in good and fresh condition, neatly housed in one album
1853/1990, used collection incl. postage due, beginning with classics, in the main catalogue numbers almost complete, incl. e.g. Mi.-Nr. 12-16, 25-32, three stamps signed A. Diena or Gebr. Senf, 32 (repaired) signed Köhler, 34-45, provisional sets complete, 96-108, later used blocks, etc., in the beginning as usual somewhat different, oherwise good condition, in four hingeless albums
1938/47, lot of 140 souvenir sheets, mint never hinged, mostly minor defects.
1940/45 (ca.), mostly mint never hinged group of souvenir sheets, incl. e.g. Mi.-Nr. Bl. 3 (2), 4 (3), 7 (2), 8 (2), 10 (2), 13 (3), 14 (2), etc., some small soiling, the rest fine
1945, Portuguese castles, lot of 37 souvenir sheets, some unused without gum, some mint never hinged, mixed condition. (Bl. 10)
1871/1934 (ca.), Portuguese India, Timor, Madeira and Macau, unused and used collection, including Fiscals, showing a substantial degree of duplicates as well as a few multiples, the collection opens with a generous selection of the the Portuguese India with both the Single Handstamp and Crown issues (some reprints noted), good part of Timor and Macau including King Luis issues, also some a few bisected, together with a good selecion of Azores, and more. Few forgeries noted. Condition slightly mixed, an interesting assembly neatly mounted on album pages
1876/1901 (ca.), used, mint, and mint never hinged group beginning with Mozambique until Zambezia incl. early issues, sheets, and single page Saint Thomas and Prince with Fournier forgeries from the book published by L'Union Philatélique de Genève, mixed condition, in stockbook
1911, Emergency Issue for domestic mail and mail to Hong Kong 1a. black/blue, with blue signature of the postmaster d'Almeida, used on picture postcard with adjacent cds. "DIRECCAO DO CORREIO DE MACAU 22 AGO. 11” to Hong Kong, reverse with rusty paper clip stain, otherwise fine

1879, Prince Carl 50 b. yellow-olive on light chromish yellow, tied by cds "BUCAREST 16 NOV 82” to small registered envelope to Paris with matching framed "RECOMANDAT”, on reverse transit and despatch Paris (November 21), the adhesive with a few imperfections, still fine; together with a second registered envelope to Paris bearing 50 b. (partly stuck on the reverse) tied by "BUCARESTI-FINANCE 25 DEC 82” with adjacent straightline "RECOM” in blue, transit and reverse arrival. An extremely scarce registered duo.

1858/1994 (ca.), large mint never hinged/unused and predominantly used collection, including Postage Dues and New Romania, showing a substantial degree of duplication together with some multiples, some better values and sets throughout with Principality Moldavia 1858 5 pa. black (Mi.-Nr. 5yI) unused (signed Heimbüchler BPP), 1903 15 b.-5 l. cpl (Mi.,-Nr. 154-160) used, 1959 souvenir sheet (Mi.-Nr. Bl. 44) mint never hinged (x3), the collection continues with a fine selection of "Regatul Romaniei” overprints, and more. Few forgeries noted; except for the occasional fault overall in good and fresh condition, an attractive assembly neatly mounted on album pages
1862/1950 (ca.), unmounted mint/unused and used accumulation with a few covers, including Postage Dues, showing strength before the 1940s with an abundance of duplicates with shades, commencing with Mi.-Nr. 9 (x32), 30 (x26), including some pairs se-tenant with couchés, etc., the collection follows with a fine group of the later Prince Cuza imperforate issues, together with a fine plating study group of Prince Carl types, later issues with some complete sheets of the 1918 overprints as well as of the postage due emergency "TAXA DE PLATA” issue, including some inverted overprints, and more; few forgeries noted in the earlier issues, as to be expected. An ecclectic and most usefull lot, in mixed condition.

1865/1975, unused/mint never hinged and used collection, incl. e.g. Mi.-Nr. ex 17-20, 21-25, 26-28, also 29-31 signed Pfenniger, all unsued, etc., in two stockbooks
1891/1932, interesting group of 15 cards and covers including registered mail, uprated postal stationery, interesting destinations like Belize, Simla and Rio de Janeiro, large format registered cover with r-label "Bucuresti-Palat-Regal” etc., mostly fine
1930/60 (ca.), over 120 covers and cards, incl. many from Transylvania to or from Germany with censorship marks, etc., many different, also some other material, in two albums
"GALATZ MOLDAVIE", blue c.d.s. with dotted frame, as arrival mark on letter sheet from Constantinople with Napoleon 10 c. and 40 c. , tied by GC "5083" also same arrival mark on letter from Syros via Constantinople and 2 unpaid letters from Syros and ?
