½ shilling pink-purple, with DKr. "FLENSBURG 15 4 66" on envelope (with contents) to Duborg in the local area. The stamp (postage stamp) had been invalid since 1 October 1865, but this was not objected to, probably for "patriotic" reasons. Slight defects; an interesting and scarce letter. Signed Carl. H. Lange, certificate Jakubek BPP
Signiert Carl. H. Lange, Fotoattest Jakubek BPP
½ shilling pink-purple in a horizontal pair, with upward and adjacent double circle cancellation "HEIDE 9 6 67" on 2nd weight class envelope in the vicinity to Hemme. As the Hemme letter collection centre had been under the control of the Lunden postoffice since February 1867, the postage had been 2½ shillings since then and "3" shillings (4 shillings for the unstamped letter minus the glued franc) were taxed in blue pencil (weakened by cleaning the letter). An interesting letter. Signed Carl H. Lange and Jakubek BPP
½ Schilling rosalila, 2 single values with franking mark "HADERSLEBEN 20/8 67" on almost complete, somewhat defective newspaper 'Nordschleswigs tidende' with part of the wrapper, to Apenrade with red chalk "½", probably for rural mail delivery. A very rare piece, we have only registered 2 other newspaper frankings from Schleswig-Holstein. Certificate Jakubek (1996)
Fotoattest Jakubek (1996)
½ shilling pink-purple in a horizontal strip of four, fresh colours and well rouletted, with neatly upward and adjacent "KIEL BAHNHOF 10/8" on envelope to Nykjöbing. A vertical letter fold running through the second stamp (postage stamp) from the left smoothed. An attractive letter with scarce postage paid. Certificate Möller BPP (2008)

1¼ p. green, uncancelled on envelope with sender's cancellation from Kiel, with adjacent "Korsør Jernb. Postexped. 30/6 1865" to Callundborg in Denmark, with transit and arrival postmarks. The letter was probably posted directly in the Kiel-Korsör ferry letterbox to save money; the Danish fee of "6" skilling was collected from the addressee. Stamp (postage stamp) small rust spot, otherwise in good condition. Signed Carl H. Lange and certificate Möller BPP (2007)

Marke kleiner Rostfleck, sonst gute Erhaltung. Signiert Carl H. Lange und Fotoattest Möller BPP (2007)
