A fine used example, neatly cancelled by part circular date stamp. Ragged perforations at top, which is fairly common for this issue, but spectacular quality nonetheless.
Very rare error as only one sheet originally existed with much fewer surviving examples. Used examples are scarcer than mint.
One of the classic pictorial stamps from North Borneo, which are revered amongst collectors of the British Commonwealth & Empire. This stamp depicts Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in Borneo.

The island of Labuan off the northern coast of Borneo was ceded to Great Britain by the Sultan of Brunei in December 1846. Stamps from North Borneo were used and overprinted Labuan.
