Ceylon 1885 10c on 24c brown-purple, type 26 De La Rue surcharge, block of 60 (10x6) from the upper left corner of the lower half of the sheet, severed into blocks of 24 (4x6) and 36 (6x6), with the latter
including six gutter pairs, SG188. A very fine philatelic piece, mint with original gum. As would be expected, there are the odd minor blemishes (gum creases, a little offsetting and separation) but fresh colour with most stamps being
unmounted mint. Most pleasingly, the gutter pairs are intact. A dramatic and scarce multiple. The Stanley Gibbons catalogue value is £900+. (Image 1)

Ceylon 1872-80 36c blue, SG129. A lovely pastel shade and brilliant quality mint example with original gum. Typical centring as normally seen for this issue and insignificant gum wrinkles mentioned for
accuracy. Overall, a stunning quality example for this issue. Scarce in this fine quality as most examples found have material condition issues. The Stanley Gibbons catalogue value is £200. (Image 1)

yellowing, still fine and dramatic appearance. Also shows printing flaw at left adding further value to this dramatic stamp error and very rare. Sold with the normal stamp for comparison. The Stanley Gibbons catalogue value is
