The collection is displayed mostly in chronological order in stock sheets, beginning in earnest with Sc. #40-47 (some earlier issues such as 4-9 and 11 appear to be reprints), with 43 NH (c.v. $160 unhinged), 44 NH (c.v. $190) and substantially complete from 1891-2003 in mostly NH condition. There is a nice run of MNH semi-postal issues much in VF condition, including Sc. The lot includes a wide variety material not often seen including a #216 2RMark overprint (printer’s master proof to determine the size of the overprint; missing a Krischke attestation, but stamp appears genuine), range of plate proofs and trial colour proofs including 1882 1c Industry & Commerce (7 examples), 1945 Lion (5 examples), 1926 Bradbury-Wilkinson Grand Duchess Charlotte "Stamp Essay", 1923 Birth of Princess Elisabeth imperforate die proof, etc. An unusually complete collection in very fine condition overall and considerably better than normally encountered.
