1181 og/nh   imageCollection / Accumulation of Mint and Never Hinged Austria, 1878-1980, containing a few thousand stamps, in over 100 manilla and quadrille pages, housed in four binders. The lot begins with two binders containing material ranging From Scott #35/1146, noting catalogue values in the $5 and lower range, with a few $10 and up. We note a few better stamps including #35 (m.h.,c.v. $65), 43 (x2, m.h., $150 total). The lot continues with a binder of back of the book material including semi-postals, ranging from B1/B353; airmails, ranging from C1/C48; postage dues, ranging from J1/J264, along with accumulations of military, newspaper and offices abroad. Each binder has been organized by Scott number by the owner, and includes some catalogue pricing. The lot finishes with a collection of stamps, in hingeless mounts, ranging from 1919 up to the 1960s. A spot check indicated mint hinged along with mint never hinged stamps. Duplication up to 10 in some cases. Online photos show a sampling. Overall fine to very fine. This exploration has numerous examples of the anniversary re-prints of this famous series from Brazil, often in both mint and used, stamp-on-stamp examples from both Brazil and other countries as well as representations of the issue on postcards, first day covers and the like. The album has more than 30 pages, many of which have material on both sides. We noted the souvenir sheet of 1943 measuring 103 mm from top to bottom. Of interest among the covers are examples of the 1943 centenary issues on cover, including one that is censored, a 1947 Lion's Club cover with a special postmark and more. Overall very fine. This specialized collection includes a wealth of Cinderellas of various descriptions, such as poster stamps, hotel stamps, various seals such as officially sealed labels and more. There are many examples on cover as well, including censored covers. Also included are other paper ephemera items such as large luggage labels from hotels, fakes and forgeries of classic stamps and more. These are from the period of the mid-1990s to the mid-2010s, with a good proportion of them being the higher cataloguing greetings stamp or prestige-style (large format) booklets. For Ireland there are well over 100 booklets, with about half of these in the Euro period. The Ireland Euro values alone have a face value of €593. For Isle of Man there are over 50 booklets, for Singapore 11 and for Greece 15 (well over €100 face for these alone). Overall fresh and very fine with no duplication.
