LotNo. Symbol Cat No. Lot Description
701 CVR Huron imageCollection of 44 Better Covers from Huron County, 1858 to 1921, mostly from the Queen Victoria era, with a great assortment of town cancels from many different towns, including several manuscript types, many ERD and LRD (according to owner, unchecked by us). A better than average county lot, with its many Small Queens (including early shades), stampless covers, registered covers (including several 8c single frankings as well as 2c RLS frankings), also noted fancy cancels and other postmark interest. Two items are fronts only, rest are overall very fine, and all are sleeved, many still with their retail prices (with many items in the $50 to $75 range). A lovely group, well worth our estimate, online photos show a portion only.
