LotNo. Symbol Cat No. Lot Description
1440 og/nh   imageCollection of Mint Newfoundland, in black mounts on quadrille pages, with a few Pence, including two corner blocks of 4 of #18 and 20 (stamps are NH). The early Cents issues are sparse and the collection begins to be strong with mostly complete sets from #61 to the end, mostly fresh and hinged, with the odd NH stamp (sets were counted as hinged) and we note a few NH sets: 131/144 (missing 1c, 2c and 9c), 226-29 and 253-66. #104-114 set includes extra copies / shades of some denominations. Also includes a few imperforate pairs and a few pages of NH blocks and plate blocks of the later issues. Rounding off the collection is a group of NH Nova Scotia and PEI, quite fresh and cataloguing $505 to themselves. A nice quality collection.
