1261 CVR Worldwide image1936 Collection of 16 Flown Hindenburg Zeppelin Covers, includes 7 covers from the MAY.6-14.1936 1st North America flight, with 3 Germany to US covers, including one On Board, 2 covers US to Germany including a faulty Canadian acceptance. Also 3 South America Covers to Germany, with 2 from the 1st South America flight and one from the 7th. Also 2 US covers to Germany from the 2nd and 5th North American flights, as well as a 1936 Paraguay to Germany cover. Lastly, a Germany to US 6th North America flight and 2 Austria covers from the 3rd and 7th flights. The 2 oversize covers with creases and tears, smaller covers mostly very fine but do note two with minor tears, one with missing backflap and other minor faults. 1262 CVR/PC Worldwide image1931-1932 Group of 4 DO-X Flying Ship Covers and Cards, includes 2 covers mailed On Board JAN.30.1931 on the flight from Germany to Brazil, both with Rio JUN.22.1931 backstamps. DO-X had technical problems and both were sent by sea from the Canaries to South America. Both are Frost catalogue #s DoX-6Ba. Also includes Frost DoX-8a mailed Rio AUG.4.1931 and addressed to Cuba and DoX-10Bf mailed On Board on Aug.21.1931 on flight to Newfoundland. There were no stamps on board so has a "Affranchissement / Percu 4, - - RM" handstamp - 4RM was the postcard rate. The worldwide includes a binder of roughly 45 United States first flight covers, primarily ranging from 1930 to 1968 (mostly franked with C11-12, C16-17, includes two 1941 clipper airmail covers), along with six airmail first day covers, ranging from 1943-1947 (includes a C25 booklet pane FDC), and 12 space related covers (Cape Canaveral postmarks, Boerger A.B.
