1447 O/og/nh Denmark imageDenmark Extensive Grouping From Early Issues to 2001, the first of four stockbooks contains a stock of early issues with many better values including #82 used ($200 x2). The owner's 2009 catalogue value for this stockbook alone was over $6,000, but it would be much higher in today's prices. There are three other stockbooks (which the owner catalogued at $1,600) with a variety of material including many mint and used blocks of four, some locals, a few pages of aerograms, etc. We note Year Packs for the years 1981-2001 which catalogue (in 2021) $1,275 as well as much postmark interest throughout. Apart from these blocks, the collection appears to be never hinged. The collection also looks complete from 1935 to 1960. From 1960 to 2006 the collection is comprised of numerous selected thematic sets and souvenir sheets showing mostly birds, but also flora and fauna as well as Disney characters. Very fine. 1452 nh East African Countries imageBritish Commonwealth East African Countries Mint Never Hinged Collection, of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania plus a few sets each from Zanzibar and Somaliland Protectorate. Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania each follow the same pattern of a few sets grouped in the early 1970, then sparsely populated to near 2000, and finally a group of mainly bird related issues, including many souvenir sheets, as recent as 2017. The Zanzibar collection is a group of 6 sets in the period 1944 to 1957 (CV $145) whereas the Somaliland Protectorate is comprised of 7 sets from the 1935 Silver Jubilee to the 1953-58 Elizabeth II definitives (CV $396).
