An old time collection on homemade pages holding a few thousand stamps with many useful, rarely seen older stamps. China is well represented to 1964 and the Republic of China to about 1969 while Japan goes to 1985, being stronger to the early 1960s. We noted the used Mei Lanfang set of 1962, Scott 620-7 (CV $340) among many interesting items. Japan and China are also notable for the pages of old revenue stamps. Afghanistan has unusual early items to 1962. A diverse lot that will please a large number of collectors. Faults noted on some earlier material, otherwise very fine. Also included is a group of 10 special commemorative packages including "Botany Bay", "Australian Gold Medalists", "Centenary of Australian Football League", among several others. Lastly, a book entitled, "Kangaroo and Map: 1913-2013 - An Advertisement for Australia" (by Richard Breckon, 2013 Australian Postal Corporation.)
