739 PC KPX5, KPX5a image1998 45c Year of the Tiger Private Order Postcard, a large holding of unused cards in like-new condition, packaged in groups of 100, with 1,959 English (@ $30 each) and 365 French (@ $90 each). These were printed for the AGF Group of Funds to mail out to investment dealers and have a message on back pitching their services and the power of the tiger, which is their company logo. The Webb catalogue quotes the printing numbers at 5,000 for English and 500 for French, so relatively uncommon, especially the French ones, as this lot has over two thirds of the printed French ones. This lot would also appeal to WWF (World Wildlife Fund) enthusiasts, as their logo appears on front and back, as well as to maximum card collectors, dealers, etc. A timely lot, as this coming 2022 will also be the Year of the Tiger.
