1543 O/og Iran imageIran Mint and used Collection in Two Lindner Hingeless Albums, to the 1980s, with slipcases. The first 23 album pages contain 340 used stamps and 270 mint stamps from the 1870-1926 time period. Scott has multiple warnings about counterfeits, reprints, CTO's etc. but there is a possibility for some valuable finds in this section. The 1927 and on issues include some better mint sets or singles such as #s 910, 990-92, 995-98, 1015-19, 1058, 1074-76, 1115, 1178, 1276-81, B11-15, B31-35, C67, Q18, and more, while the better used include 766, 793, 915-29, 933-34, 939-40, 1096, 1148-51, O14-17, etc. Overall fine to very fine. 1550 O Italy imageItaly Mostly Used Collection, 1862 to 2015, the collection starts off in a Minkus album to 1978, then on computer-generated pages to 2004, then ends off in a stockbook. There is a high level of completeness from the 1950s to 1990s (probably over 90% complete), with a good quantity of material before and after, including offices, states, colonies, lots of back of the book, and more. We note many complete sets, nice c.d.s. cancels throughout and overall clean material. A fine to very fine collection with thousands of different stamps and probably a high catalogue value. The collection is stronger in used for pre-1935 issues, with many better including #s 2, 4-5, 7, 9, 13, 17-20, 25, 38-39, 53, 57-58, 60-67, 85-91, B67-72, J8-9, O79, etc. There are duplicates which were not counted in the total used catalogue value of $2,400. Also, many times there is a mint and a used copy of a stamp.
