LotNo. Symbol Cat No. Lot Description
1081 O/og 51- imageMostly Used Collection on 36 Double-Sided Vario-Style Stock Pages, from 1859 to modern, all neatly laid out in groups, one of which contains some identified Small Queens to the 50c, another group goes from 1859 (these faulty) to Québecs, another contains Maple Leafs and Numerals only, another with Admirals (including an MR4a Die I, mint hinged with gum soaking at top), then #s 141 to 324 (about 450 stamps, with singles, blocks, coils, precancels), a group of odds and ends including back of the book and revenues, etc, and finally a collection of about 750 different stamps spanning from the Jubilees (to the 8c) to modern, with back of the book issues. The majority of the lot is used but we did see some mint here and there including in the back of the book issues. Some faults here and there (including no gum on a few mint), else overall fine or better. See scans for a glimpse, else try to view it in person to better appreciate the high catalogue value and variety included. 1082 og/nh 51/271 imageGroup of Mostly Mint Never Hinged on Stock Pages and in glassines, mostly 1897 to 1946, with a few after that. The group starts with a good selection of Jubilees to the 6c, with singles, three blocks of the ½c (two blocks of six and one of nine), 3c (blocks of 6 and 8 plus others), a lovely 6c with a slightly shorter perf, a variety of Québec issues to the 20c, with singles and multiples (high values have gum problems), selection of Admiral singles, with two lovely blocks of the 2c yellow green and 3c compound perf, selection of Scroll and Arch issues, noting a lovely block of the 4c Arch, and many more, including a few plate blocks. See our 6 scans for most of the early material, most is NH but we noted a few stamps with no gum or hinged. Nice overall quality, with many fresh and desirable stamps. 1085 og/nh 135/321 imageCollection of Mint on Lighthouse Hingeless Pages, 1918 to 1953, starts with the 3c Confederation and appears to be complete to the end, except for missing Admiral and Scroll issues (also no coils). We note many duplicate copies, often there because of shades or varieties. Also noted a 20c King Edward with SPECIMEN overprint. The collection is also strong in back of the book, including G overprinted Officials, Special Delivery (noted 8x E1 with shades), and some OHMS overprinted Officials including two 50c Oil Fields and four NH blocks of six of #s O1i to O15i (cat. $307.). Appears to be a mix of NH and hinged, with mostly the latter, including some without gum and also noted a few with hinge thins. Otherwise a valuable, mostly fine or better collection. Scans only show a portion of the collection. (Scan 1) (Scan 2) (Scan 3) (Scan 4) (Scan 5) (Scan 6) (Scan 7) (Scan 8) (Scan 9) (All Scans)
