1902 O/og/nh Worldwide imageOld Time Collection, starts with a lovely old collection in a Rapkin springback album containing a good selection of countries and stamps are all before Edward VII era. We noted 65 copies of the GB 1870 ½d rose (unchecked as per plate numbers) as well as an array of other early GB including imperforates, some useful China material including nice copies of the 1 Candarin and 3 Candarins of the 1870s-80s. The lot also comes with a selection of sheets and part sheets purchased at a GB post office in the 1960s-70s, an old 1870s worldwide collection (all glued in, and mostly all faulty), an 1870s collection of worldwide postmarks (cut to size and glued in album) as well as a stockbook of various issues and an envelope of on paper. 1903 O/og/nh Worldwide imageWorldwide Mostly Used Accumulation in 30 Stockbooks, Albums and Boxes, all filling four banker’s boxes. The lot mainly consists of various collections being crammed into stockbooks in no particular order. We noted many recent stamps well into the 2000s in addition to the more commonly found issues from the 1920s to 1970s. Canada is represented by two stockbooks and two tins of bundles. A 2015 Unitrade catalogue in good condition is also included. A group of a few hundred FDCs and commercial covers round up the lot. A lot that needs work but that will reward the worldwide collector. Faults noted on some older material, else generally fine to very fine, with close viewing recommended. (Scan 1) (Scan 2) (Scan 3) (Scan 4) (Scan 5) (Scan 6) (All Scans)

1904 O/og/nh Worldwide imageWorldwide Two Thick Binders Filled With Well Over One Thousand Mint and Used Souvenir Sheets, from a large number of different countries. Most souvenir sheets are mint never hinged, many are identified with Scott number and priced for retail. Though there is widespread duplication, we only saw few instances of more than 3 copies. One binder houses European countries only, the second binder is for the rest of the world. Lots of thematic appeal. Quality is very fine throughout. 1910 O/og/nh Worldwide imageWorldwide Group of Mint and Used Souvenir Sheets and Booklets, featuring France with 27 souvenir sheets and 8 booklets all of which are Euro-denominated, making for a large face value. Russia, with about 130 MNH souvenir sheets, plus over 100 used souvenir sheets, 3 booklets and a glassine full on MNH stamps has the largest number of items in this lot. While most of the used Russian SS are from the 1970s to the 1990s, most of the mint ones are more recent and include items related to the 2012 Sochi Olympic Games. Japan with about 30 SS, mostly annual lottery prizes and PRChina with about 10 SS Beijing 2008 Olympic Games-related are the other countries with the most items. We also noted the famous Bhutan record stamps Scott #152A and 152F (MNH CV $145, the 152F has a fold). 1920 O/og/nh Worldwide imageWorldwide Massive Lot of Stock from Retired Packet Maker, contains a great variety of material, including hundreds of complete sheets, hundreds of sets, topicals, country collections (in packet form, such as "1,000 different", etc), singles, souvenir sheets, and more. A very valuable lot which contains loads of expensive sets and stamps, many ranging in the $20 to $50 per set, we even noted some items cataloguing several $100s. Countries include Russia, Tanzania, Czechoslovakia, British Commonwealth, Hungary, Iraq, Romania, Canada, and more. Most of the lot is already sorted, either by country, or by "packet" lot (for example one envelope contains Scott $3,472 worth of worldwide stamps, another is catalogued at $2,700, etc). Noted a bag with 100s of GB "Penny Reds" on large pieces and noted many items cataloguing hundreds to thousands, but these need to be looked at closely. A very useful lot for online resellers, and well worth a close look as we only did a cursory look as there is so much material (scan does not do this lot justice). Prices given here appear to date from the late 1990s. The whole lot fills three Banker's Boxes which weigh in at 65 pounds total.
