1314 CVR   imageGroup of Three Patriotic Items, all illustrating a different coloured flag. Best is a cover from the Young Men's Christian Association in South Africa, mailed free-franked to Gravenhurst from FPO Belfast on OCT.10.1900 with oval Canadian Contingent / South Africa handstamp. Second cover is a censored cover from the Salvation Army, mailed from France on FEB.10.1918 (9 months prior to the end of WWI) still containing its interesting letter. The latter has opening tears at top, else both fine. Also included is a leather postcard depicting a red and blue flag plus a beaver in a green wreath reading "here's o the land of the Maple", mailed in 1907 (stamp missing and light scuffing on picture side). (Perth Co.) via Stratford. Also a 14th Princess of Wales Own Rifles Canada greeting unused ephemera card, and a Dominion Line of Royal Mail 1899 letter with "on board S.S.
