2117   imageGroup of 3 Stock Bonds from the Levis and Kennebec Company Railway, issued in 1874 and complete with all coupons (63 each). We noted that the documents had a face value at the time of £100 each. Bonds feature appealing designs (including a lovely steam locomotive), with fresh and vivid colours. Also included is the complete history of defunct railway company (12 pages). An opportunity for the Canadiana collector to acquire interesting historic documents, in great condition and seldom offered for auction. Would look great framed-up.

2118   imageCollection of 25 Gilded Sterling Silver Canada Stamp Replicas, with certificate of authenticity housed in a leather presentation case. The collection was sold by the Canadian Silver Engravers Ltd. and production limited to 7,500 sets in Canada and 2,500 for the rest of the world. Stamps are made of sterling silver (925/1000) and gilded in gold for a total weight of 454 grams (or 1lb). The complete set originally sold in 1984 for $1,625. Also included is documentation related to the product.
