161 O/og 21-28 imageAdvanced Collection of Large Queen Stamps, all displayed and described on 42 quadrille pages, with every denomination up to the 12½c, showing examples of shades, perforations, with emphasis on papers (using Duckworth paper type numbers) including watermarked, thick, thin, etc., and varieties such as "no frameline at value tablet", "corn on the cob", "spur", "chignon", etc., postmarks (some identified by Jarrett or Lacelle #) and more. The collection contains mainly used stamps but we noted some mint, some of which have original gum. Overall nice quality stamps, the faulty ones are noted in pencil, and the collection includes two Greene Foundation certificates. The Unitrade catalogue value given is by the owner, with each stamp valued in pencil on the page. See scans for a sample, view to better appreciate. 172 O 22, 25, 26 imageGroup of 1c, 3c and 5c Large Queens, includes 1c brown reds with a DEC.30.1868 Kirkhill broken circle on thin paper, a very fine thin paper with a strong kiss print, a copy with burr to the left of the Queen's head (22iii, USC $350) and two others. The 3c are represented with an engraver's slip on the oval frame at 2 o'clock, a Duckworth figure 29N with two dots, a plate crack through C of CENTS (25v, USC $600 for fine), and another single.
