1340 CVR China Provinces imageThree 1949-50 Mixed Franking Covers to Canada, with Central China Liberation Area #6L62 on front and South China Liberation Area #7L4 (x20) on back, with Canton transit and Canadian c.d.s. (Aylmer PQ, JAN.17.1950) on front. South China Liberation Area covers to Canada are rare, as this government did not issue stamps until NOV.4.1949 and they were replaced by PRC stamps in early 1950. Very fine. Also includes a cover mailed with $15,800 worth of North China Liberated Zone issues franking for air mail rate to Canada, plus a third cover mailed from Northwest China to Canada, this time with $2,500 worth of stamps for the same rate.
