784 O 1F/5F image1857 1d brown and 5d brown Engraved Oneglia Forgery. Includes reference material describing the differences between the forgeries and the genuine. Oneglia was one of the few forgers using engraving, his products were later sold by Panelli. Scarce forgeries for the specialist. The rates were 1d for town letters and 4d for ship letters or transmission inland. This used four margin example has a barred numeral 64 of Hobart, likely printed from plate 2 and is fine-very fine.
