1861, ARAGO: 1857 Washington 3c. red and Franklin 30c. orange tied by red grid to folded letter from "NEW YORK FEB 3" endorsed "pr. Steamer Arago via Marseille" to Melbourne, Australia, the adhesives only paid the route via Southampton, so the cover was put on the "PERSIA", from there on the "PERA" to Alexandria, "SIMLA" to Galle and "BENARES" to Melbourne with arrival mark "MELBOURNE AP 15 61", fine and very attractive

1867, MISSISSIPPI: 1861 Franklin 30c. orange, horizontal pair and single tied by cork cancels to envelope to Paris, paying 6 times new single rate of 15 cents, "18" cents creditet to France, right stamp ironed out tear, otherwise fine and attractive entire conveyed on the 2nd and last trip

1850, CITY OF GLASGOW: Maiden return voyage, folded letter dated "Habana Mayo 1850", carried under separate cover to New York with manuscript on reverse "Forwarded by F. Echarte, May 18th 1850, red "NEW YORK MAY 18" alongside and carred by Tod & McGregor "City of Glasgow" to Glasgow with matching two-line "GREENOCK SHIP LETTER", green "GREENOCK JN 2 1850" and matching "COLONIES &c.
