There are three “2-perf pairs”, errors of the 1d official “Admiral” imperf at top (Campbell Paterson NZ$250), and a couple of singles missing a period after “Official” (these with no gum). 531   imageCirca 1950 “Honey” Lid Revenue Stamps and/or Postal Stationery, where the tax on honey was imprinted on honey jar lid liners. Only four denominations were produced. Includes three copies of the ½d green (Samuels #HX2a - NZ$125 each - one with a tear) and an example of the 1d blue (#HX3a - NZ$100). Great addition to a bee or apiary topical. Includes a conventional honey revenue stamp not counted in the 1992 Samuels catalogue value of NZ$475.00 = C$389 at today's writing.

532   imageGroup of Queen Victoria & King Edward VII Issues, with a proof block of the 1d “Commerce”, followed by a proof block of the 1d “Dominion” and a gummed imperforate booklet pane of 6 (showing the gutter to the adjoining pane) and a never hinged block of the “Victoria Land” overprint. The ½d KEVII is a margin block of four and a mint never hinged block with the “Auckland Exhibition 1913” overprint (never hinged, but two stamps with a minor gum bend). Stamps alone catalogue U$420 in Scott as hinged.
