WORLDWIDE COLLECTIONS
Lot Symbol CatNo. Lot Description CV or Estimate
1769 ogO Worldwide large dealer's stock neatly arranged in 85 large red boxes for the #102 or #104 retail cards, there are mint, used, early, modern, sets and singles, the primary focus of this lot is in items cataloging $1.00 to $10.00 apiece, a major virtue of this stock is that practically everything is in neat order, cataloged and priced, so there is very little work that needs to be done to get it ready for sale, despite the fact that the items are of more moderate prices, the value should add up, as there is an estimated 40,000 items with minimal duplication, and the owner's catalog value (which appears correct) is in the $150,000.00 neighborhood. Est. $5,000-7,500

SOLD for $10,500.00
Will close during Public Auction
1770 ogO Worldwide collection offered intact as received, housed in 53 Minkus albums, stamps and pages go to the 1970's, with early stamps mostly used and some later mint sets, all parts of the world are covered including the United States, a large portion of the value is in Europe, especially France, Scandinavia and Switzerland, but perhaps the most interesting and valuable country is China, including better early used issues and mint sets and Taiwan, somewhat mixed condition, primarily due to the fact that some of the albums were exposed to slight humidity, with some stamps stuck down to a certain degree, however many of these are only modestly stuck and can be salvaged with a little effort and care, and many of the albums are not at all affected by this, certainly worthy of careful inspection. Est. $3,000-4,000

SOLD for $10,500.00
Will close during Public Auction
