1330 og 112/547, E1/JQ4 #112/547, E1/JQ4, Valuable mint lot of over 130 different stamps neatly arranged in a safety deposit box type stockbook, these were nearly all full original gum stamps, but were subjected in a slightly humid climate, resulting in some gum disturbance or loss of varying degrees, with some stamps clearly affected by disturbance, while others show little or no evidence of gum disturbing, in fact many would probably receive a simple "previously hinged" opinion if submitted for expertizing, and few of the 20th century stamps may even qualify as never hinged, much of the value in the 19th century, with four 1869 Pictorials including a 10c, the Bank Note issues are quite strong, with many high cataloging stamps, including an attractive example of the rare 30c National Printing, better commemoratives include $1.00, $4.00 and $5.00 Columbians, as well as the $1.00 and $2.00 Trans-Mississippis, Bureau issues to $2.00, better Washington-Franklins, with numerous 50c and Dollar high values, back-of-the-book includes an especially impressive showing of postage due stamps, except for the above mentioned gum problems, the stamps are generally fine-very fine with many highly saleable stamps throughout; even using the most conservative method of cataloging, the total catalog value will be well in excess of $70,000.00. 1331 nh 124/ #124/538, J1/K18, Attractive and valuable mint collection of 57 different mint items, nearly all are singles but including three coil line pairs, this collection starts with a fresh 2c 1875 re-issue of the 1869 Pictorials, full o.g., lightly hinged (about the only hinged stamp in the entire lot), then several late Bank Notes, Small Bank Notes and Bureau issues, 20th century includes a few regular issues and commemoratives, a nice selection of never hinged postage dues and six different Shanghai surcharges with values to the 60c on 30c Orange, all are attractive with bright colors on fresh paper, o.g., n.h. with hardly any exceptions, most are quite well centered, fine-very fine with many even better than that; each stamp is accompanied by a certificate (total of 59), mostly of the 1990's from the Philatelic Foundation $11,545.00

1333 ogngO Large mint and used accumulation in collection balances and on sales cards, all in a large box, collection balances include seven albums, each of which has a modest amount of 19th century and modern issues, face value of the mint will add up, better stamps are found on cards including a quite a number of high catalog unused and used 19th century, includes 1869 Pictorials, Bank Note issues and others, we note a used set of the 1898 Trans-Mississippi cplt. and a mint White Plains souvenir sheet, even some stock pages with hundreds of pre-cancels, condition is very mixed with faults throughout the 19th century, unused are often without gum or regummed, but there are also better quality items as well, especially in the 1920's-1930's issues; certainly worthy of inspection. 1339 ogPB Mint single and plate block collection offered intact as received in 28 White Ace albums, a few early singles, but it really starts from the 1893 Columbians, which go to the 50c value, better items include the White Plains sheet and the Graf Zeppelin set, plate blocks start in the 1920's and include #C18 and some other better, both the singles and plate blocks are quite comprehensive from 1940 to the very late 1990's, and also includes modern full booklets as well as some full panes, therefore the face value will be rather substantial, most o.g., modern issues n.h., mixed quality on the early issues, later material generally fine-very fine.
