1210 ogOSblc O1/O120 #O1/126, Officials extensive and valuable mint and used collection mounted on hand made pages in Scott binder, the central focus of this collection is the mint collection which includes all of the 1873 hard paper issues complete less only the dollar value State Department issues, virtually all of these have original gum, plus a very large percentage of the 1879 soft paper issues as well, then used of each set are collected, though not complete, plus extra examples showing pairs and strips and various types of cancels, there are a few special printings with "Specimen" overprints including 1c and 2c values of each set cplt., other items include mint inscription and plate number blocks, a few plate proof pairs on India and even a half dozen covers including a 12c Justice on large portion of large cover (faults), condition overall is very clean and attractive, only an occasional stamp is unused or regummed with nearly all having o.g. including some never hinged stamps in some of the multiples, fine-very fine; an excellent basis for making a specialized collection of the officials; Scott catalog value is in excess of $45,000.00 Est. 10,000-15,000
