827 c Sieger #53A/250A Sieger #53A/250A, 1930-1934 Substantial treaty-state balance collection consisting of 63 nearly all different covers flown on the "Graf Zeppelin", 21 different countries are represented, included are a few earlier and small flights, but the majority are of 1932-33 South America flights, it starts with French Andorra postings of the first three 1933 South America flights, usually each country has from one to as many as a half dozen covers, the usual major European countries are present, there are no covers from South America, some of the less usual countries that we note include Gibraltar, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Turkey and Yugoslavia, Eastern Europe includes Poland and Romania as well as Russia, all have the proper components of flight cachets and backstamps, condition varies a bit as would be expected, but the vast majority are fine-very fine; a nice representation of treaty-state covers and a valuable collection that is well worth examining (Michel #55A/366a). 828 c Sieger #59E/297A Sieger #59E/297A, 1930-36 Substantial South America Zeppelin cover collection, consists of 69 largely different covers from six different countries, most of the covers are from the earlier period starting with the 1930 Pan-American Flight and including South America flights of 1932-33 with only a few later, some of the highlights include 1930 Pan-American Flight covers of Argentina, Brazil and two from Bolivia, includes better frankings of the special Zeppelin stamps issued by these countries, also includes twelve covers from Chile of the 1932 South America flights, plus fourteen Paraguay postings that run the gamut from the 1930 Pan-American Flight to South America flights as late as 1935, all with the proper markings and cachets appropriate to the flight, condition varies but largely fine-very fine; a better collection of the South American material that is not overrun with cheap mundane covers (Michel #66B/441Bb). 829 c Sieger #409/442A Sieger #409/442A, 1936 Worldwide "Hindenburg" collection of 44 covers of mostly treaty-state postings, about 20 covers are of the First North America Flight which includes five United States postings and six Liechtenstein, the rest are later flights including four United States covers, there is a good range of different countries, in addition to the usual European countries we note Czechoslovakia, Italy, Hungary, Luxembourg, Sweden and Poland, from the Americas we note covers of Guatemala, Salvador and Paraguay, all with appropriate flight cachets and backstamps, few faults are present, mostly fine-very fine (Michel #12/47A).
