Sieger #214Aa var., 1933 Second South America Flight, unusual registered card with eight adhesives tied by indistinct c.d.s. of Bizerte, Tunisia, flown on the Second South America Flight, with green flight cachet, Friedrichshafen transit c.d.s. of June 3, 1933 and backstamped Pernambuco, but in addition there is a green Friedrichshafen Zeppelin backstamp dated August 15, 1933, which is the proper arrival date of the return flight of the Fourth South America Flight, there are no other stamps or markings for this later flight but we have no other explanation for this backstamp than it was rerouted to Europe on that return flight, light water staining at bottom of card, otherwise very fine and unusual (Sieger €750; Michel #305a var.). "Los Angeles", these are for flights to and from Bermuda and Puerto Rico with various markings and frankings, includes several covers with printed cachets, fine-very fine.

Sieger #22A, 1928 Return of the America Flight, specially prepared Roessler printed cacheted view card for this flight, with four adhesives tied by "Lakehurst, N.J./Oct. 28, 1928" duplex, one is the notorious "Graf/Zeppelin" overprint that Roessler applied to some 1c Green regular issues in disgust because the U.S. Post Office had not appropriately commemorated the Graf Zeppelin's flight to America, his efforts nearly landed him in jail for fraudulently issuing a "U.S." postage stamp, purple flight cachet, Friedrichshafen transit and Zweisimmen, Switzerland backstamp where addressed, faint bend to card, otherwise very fine; this unauthorized overprint is very scarce used on a flown cover (mentioned but not priced in Sieger; Michel #8A).
