1172 ogc U2/651, UC1/UO91 U2/651, UC1/UO91, Extensive and representative mint postal stationery entire collection of 990 mostly different envelopes from the early Nesbitts right up to the present, some of the modern envelopes have two or three examples each, collected by the different Scott numbers but also identified by the UPSS catalog, starts with an exceptionally clean unused #U2 with pre-printed address of The Keystone Mutual Life Insurance Co., includes a nice range of the early issues including a #U36 letter sheet, 1864-65 high values are complete, the Reay and Plimpton issues have a nice range of issues including some of the better high values, in the 20th century there is a modest representation of the surcharges, air mail envelopes and letter sheets are comprehensive and there is also a modest selection of officials, an especially attractive feature of this collection is the overall excellent condition that prevails throughout, all have been selected and meticulously cared for, very few faults will be found and the vast majority are very fine or better; a wonderful collection of envelopes for one wanting a good basis in this area that starts with many premium items. $24,000.00
