81 S 124S-128S, 130S-132S image#124S-128S, 130S-132S, 2c-90c 1869 Pictorial Re-issues, hole punch specimens, eight different values complete for the set except the 1c Buff and 15c Brown and blue, each with 4mm hole, apparently done to invalidate the stamp so they could be used as specimens or for archival purposes, the literature is silent on these but they are reminiscent of the archival punch holes done by the security printer De La Rue some years later in Great Britain, all with characteristic re-issue o.g., minor album offset at the top of some values, fine-very fine; these eight values are the first we have seen as such, Scott catalog for the unpunched re-issues is $23,100.00.
