2207 c U308 image#U308, 2c Green on blue, die 87, size 10, knife 54, wmk. 7, a remarkably rare used entire being one of only two known examples, while mint cut squares, which are also rarities, are known, no mint entire has been discovered, quite fresh and possessing the corner card of the First National Bank of Ovid in the county of Clinton, Michigan, "Ovid/Mich./Sep 28 1887" c.d.s. with crossroads cancel, this being the earliest known usage, the other dated October 17, 1887, backstamped Chicago the next day, very fine and a choice example of this postal stationery rarity; ex-White (UPSS #920).
