834 ogO Australian States valuable collection of many hundreds on Scott pages, not only is there a high degree of completion for the basic Scott numbers, but there are also numerous multiples, shades and varieties to be found throughout, the early 19th century is filled with high cataloging imperforate stamps including some very scarce unused or mint examples and some of the elusive rouletted stamps, the later perforated stamps include several scarce mint or used items, the turn-of-the-century contains many of the pound high values in mint or used fine-very fine condition, plus a good showing of the back-of-the-book issues including 41 of the unlisted South Australia officials, condition on the earliest issues is mixed as always, but the quality improves on the later issues; collections of Australian States are seldom offered in such depth. 835 ogO Australian States perforated officials substantial lot of over 1,000 mostly used items neatly arranged in a stockbook and also a few on album pages, includes both Australian States stamps perforated "OS" as well as Austrialian stamps perforated with the state's initials, in the states issues we note several shilling values, two £2 Blue stamps of Victoria and Western Australia £1, the Australian stamps contain Kangaroos to the 2/-, several King Geoge V heads and later definitve stamps, some duplication, with some items in quantities over ten, but most have five or less, mostly fine or better; an uncommonly large offering that should be of great interest to a specialist in this field.
