734 og Remarkable quality full corner mint cut square collection offered intact as received, several hundred different cut squares in two Scott albums, 1853-1991, formed by a collector of gem mint postage stamps, who collected similar quality cut squares with full corners, fresh color and extra-large margins, but discontinued after realizing that the higher cataloging items were increasingly difficult to find in that quality, therefore the value lies in 19th and early 20th century cut squares cataloging $25.00-$350.00 each, virtually all were carefully selected and purchased one-at-a-time, in fact some were purchased as entires and then were cut to make "perfect" cut squares, all are at least in very fine condition and the majority are extremely fine; this is the ideal basis for a collector wanting to take on a new challenge, and would be equally useful for a dealer in cut squares, as many would retail for well over catalog value; the catalog value represents only full corners, not counted are the non-full corners, a few mint entires and a clean two-volume collection of mint postal cards. 13,000.00+

SOLD for $8,000.00
Closing..Jun-21, 06:00 PM
735 og U1/UO76 #U1/462, UC1/55, UO2/76, Comprehensive mint cut square collection of hundreds neatly hinged in a Scott album, catalog values to $450.00, with several noted in the $100.00-$300.00 range, some full corners included, slight duplication (sometimes on the better items) and a few used, not counted in the catalog value are a couple reprints and trial colors, a few minor flaws here and there but most are very fine; a valuable collection of this popular field. 22,000.00

SOLD for $5,500.00
Closing..Jun-21, 06:00 PM
736 og U9/528 #U9/528, UC1/UO61, Clean mint cut square collection of several hundred to about 1960 in an album and a stockbook, while we did not note any rarities, there are many useful items cataloging $25.00-$300.00 each throughout the collection, virtually all of which are in very fine condition, in addition there are some duplicates (including some better items) in the back of the stockbook, the catalog value of just the collection will easily exceed $10,000.00, making our estimate somewhat conservative. Est. 2,000-3,000

SOLD for $2,900.00
Closing..Jun-21, 06:00 PM
737 ogc U10/UO87 #U10/641, UC1/UO87, Mint entire balance of about 175 different, catalog values to $525.00, better items include #U13, U286, U320(2), U479a and U503, several others cataloging $100.00-$200.00 each, a good run of modern issues as well as a few better air post issues, virtually all are very fine. 3,800.00
