181 ogX 227a image#227a, 15c Indigo imperforate, a remarkable full top margin imprint and plate "No. 22" block of twelve of this rare imperforate variety, being the finer of only two recorded, very large margins all around, sumptuously rich color in an especially deep shade, full o.g., lightly hinged, with tiny thin specks which are endemic to the 1890 imperforates, otherwise extremely fine; one of the most important plate blocks from the Small Bank Note series, as well as being an important 19th century plate block rarity; the other known example (ex-Todd) is a bottom margin position and has facial scuffs in addition to the characteristic tiny thinnings; 2000 PF certificate.
