Lot Symbol CatNo. Lot Description CV or Estimate
1341 og Worldwide comprehensive mint collection for the years 1956-66, a most impressive four volume collection (large Minkus Supreme Global albums) brimming with complete mint sets of the world for this time span, with virtually no area of the world overlooked, with thousands of stamps from the British Commonwealth nations, Asia, Western and Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Middle East, extraordinarly comprehensive for the time period, with many countries complete or nearly so, we note not only many popular and highly collectable areas (i.e. Australia, China, French Southern and Antarctic Territories to name a few), but there are literally hundreds of sets that catalog $25.00, $50.00, $150.00 or more (up to as much as a couple at $500.00); accompanied by a fifth similarly large volume for the 1967-68 time period for the A-L lettered countries, just as comprehensive; all o.g. and neatly hinged (a few even n.h.), incredibly clean throughout, fine-very fine; collections of this type are becoming increasingly hard to find.
