I, "Orangeburg Coil", perf. 12 vert., a marvelous used example of this rare and sought after coil, which was issued specifically for use by the Bell Pharmaceutical Co. to mail their samples to doctors, the centering is remarkably nice, being considerably better than most of the small population that exists, additionally its color is the characteristic deep violet shade, neat and unobtrusive wavy line machine postmark, there are single mild corner creases in each top corner (which are quite endemic to these), neither of which affect this stamp's exceptional very fine appearance; a highly desirable example of this major 20th century coil rarity; 1959 APS and 1980 PF certificates; ex-Lyons.
