306 og 525c Image#525c, 1c Gray green offset, horizontal pair, imperforate between, with natural s.e. at right as always since this variety always comes from the two right rows of a left pane, fresh, o.g., lightly hinged, fine; this error catalogs a mere $100.00, but we have been unable to locate another mint example in any auction (including our own) - when this happens there are two explanations: (a) it is common and worth only a fraction of the catalog value so it falls below the minimum value to run as a single lot, or (b) it is so rare and never comes to market so the catalog editors have no information to update the price, in the case of #525c, we believe the latter explanation holds true; 2008 PF certificate. (Image) $100.00

SOLD for $450.00
Will close during Public Auction
