1180 og S.G. #H3a ImageS.G. #H3a, 1914 "TOGO/Anglo-French/Occupation" overprint on 10pf Carmine, wide setting, inverted overprint, right sheet-margin single, the overprint split as always, but with the margin at right the whole overprint is present, exceptionally bright and fresh, o.g., lightly hinged, mild natural gum crease, very fine; only a half sheet of 30 stamps was printed with the inverted overprint, but the vast majority are used, Gibbs reports only four unused examples, with two of those having no gum, this stamp, with its sheet-margin, overall freshness and original gum, may be the finest mint copy of the four known; signed H. Bloch and accompanied by a clear 2001 BPA certificate (Scott #37a; $8,500.00). (Image) £8,000
