The centering, size of margins, color and impression are unlike any other we have seen. The Professional Stamp Experts agree with this assessment, having assigned it the highest grade to date, Superb 98. Not only is this the only Twelve Cent value to receive this grade, there are only two other values in the series with original gum to achieve this grade, the more common One Cent and the Ten Cent values. The SMQ does not even price this stamp in the grade of 98, since none had reached a grade this high until this stamp was certified in June 2010.Accompanied by a 1983 PF certificate and a 2010 PSE certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $15,100.00 for a 95, the highest grade they price); as mentioned, this is the sole example to be graded Superb 98, the highest in the PSE population report.
