1749 ogOc S.G. #A2, A3 S.G. #A2, A3, 1911-13 1/p Deep green and 1p Carmine, with "Victoria/Land." overprints, specialized collection, an interesting selection beginning with two large original announcing posters (two versions) for these new overprints, the especially scarce 1/2p Deep green is represented by a rare "Specimen" overprint single, along with a choice mint single (catalogs £600 alone), the 1p Carmine value is particularly well represented by a total of 43 mint examples (in singles and multiples up to as large as a plate number block of nine), plus four used singles tied to separate pieces (these mint and used stamps catalog £2,765), concluding with five scarce covers bearing a single franking of the 1p value, various dates, and lastly a rare registered cover franked with a strip pf three, but the cover is quite torn, all mint stamps with o.g., the great majority are n.h., with the exception of the registered cover overall condition is fine-very fine; a wonderful lot for the specialist.
