We are public auctioneers operating under Hong Kong Government license. In
addition to the auction side of the business, part of our 16th floor offices
are given over to a retail outlet for albums, accessories and literature. We
do not deal retail in stamps. Our offices which are not rented but our own
property are situated in Causeway Bay, the entertainment and shopping hub Hong
Kong Island. The Tram Station and no fewer than 20 public bus routes stop
right outside our door, the Causeway Bay Station of the mass Transit Railway
is adjacent to our building and there are six public car parks in the close
vicinity.
The Company was formed in 1975 and the auction side of the business
commenced in 1977.
We are a private limited company incorporated in Hong Kong and are members
of the major philatelic societies such as the Hong Kong Philatelic Society and
specialized philatelic societies like the Hong Kong Study Circle (London),
China Stamp Society Inc. (USA) and China Philatelic Society of London. John
is Area Vice President of the China Stamp Society.
Our public auctions are held monthly usually on the last Saturday of the
month at the Excelsior Hotel. Causeway Bay, one of Hong Kong's leading hotels
which boasts a panoramic view of our renowned harbour and also overlooks the
famous Jardines Noon Day Gun.
The auctions consist of over 1,000 lots with the emphasis on British
Commonwealth, China and Hong Kong but also with other first class general
material. Each auction also contains a specialised Hong Kong section of
postal history referenced from 'The Treaty Ports of China and Japan' by Col.
F. W. Webb.
We have an extensive fully subscribed mailing list for our catalogues
which covers all continents. In addition we have very active floor bidding

Dear Philatelists, my name is Maxime S. Herold. Many of you may know me as I
have been involved with Philately for over 28 years. In working with
different companies such as Collectibles Inc., Darnell Inc., Rousseau
Collections Inc., Gary J. Lyon (Philatelist) Ltd., Eastern Auctions Ltd.,
Colonial Stamp Company and many international clients. I realized that
personal and individual service is the key to satisfying collectors and their
needs. I decided to start Canada Stamp Finder; a different approach to
philately. As the name would imply, I specialize mainly in High End Canadian
Philately but I also do worldwide as many of my clients have varied interests
and often request foreign material. When you are looking for assistance with
your collection, whether buying or selling; I would be delighted to be of
service to you. We can arrange for cash advances on larger holdings. Mobile:
