 1888-1936, Hundreds of hand-picked individual items mounted in two old Frank-Godden albums, many items still on auction cards. Starting with "Deutsche Seepost", then card 1888 from Hamburg to German consul in Liberia, re-directed with
additional 10 Pfg. "aus Westafrika" to Hamburg , signed Jäschke-Lantelme. We saw used double-cards, nice part registered and Air-Letter-sheets. Airmail covers 1936 and lovely part old picture postcards. Great base for an exhibition collection! (Image 1)

 1833 (Nov 19). Entire letter from Mérida to Charleston (United States), correctly charged with “4” Reales marking as per single rate, transported by the Spanish mails with “Yndias” straight-line hs (P.E. 5) struck
in Mexico. Closed tear on front of no significance for this important item. The “Yndias” marking denoted mail originating from Spanish American colonies on correspondences sent to Spain; consequently, in this instance was erroneously and
exceptionally struck. One of just two covers recorded exhibiting the “Yndias” postmark on mail addressed to the United States. (Image 1)
